Water 101

In Water Module A you will be introduced to key concepts in water resources management in Washington State and how county government responsibilities contribute to the overall statewide framework. Elements include legal framework, water rights, tribal issues, and understanding the interaction between the Department of the Ecology, as the statewide water resources management agency, and the County as an entity required to work with Ecology while implementing state law.
